Graphic/Interactive Intern

90octane is looking for a graphic/interactive intern for a part time position. This position involves creative thinking, strategic concept development, design and execution of various interactive materials. Candidates must have a viewable portfolio of existing work or come recommended by a professional colleague/instructor.

90octane is an award-winning interactive marketing agency based in Lower Downtown Denver.  This agency specializes in the strategy and execution of online marketing campaigns, which include such tactics as email marketing, online advertising, microsite development, search engine optimization and pay-per-click advertising.
 
The graphic/interactive Intern will be responsible for:

• Creating compelling and user-friendly landing/web pages, microsites, emails, e-newsletters, banner/skyscraper ads, and more.  In most cases these tools are specifically designed to capture clients’ target audiences and convert them to qualified leads.  Helping clients develop and maintain their brands online is often a second goal in designing these resources
• Designing & presenting creative concepts for new clients and programs
• Assisting in the creative upkeep of 90octane.com
• Making creative recommendations for client websites & marketing materials

Requirements:

• Must have strong design & typography skills with experience in web/online design & development
• Demonstrated proficiency in HTML & Photoshop; Dreamweaver, Illustrator & Flash a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to results
• Ability to revise designs based on internal and external feedback
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to work well within a team structure
• Experience in lead generation, copywriting, site usability, advertising or marketing strategy a plus

This is a part time position that may lead to a full time position.
